The Big Buck Contest is a new program that was started in the latter part of 2003, but even in that short period, acceptance was good.
From the pre-registered entrants seven bucks were taken that qualified for a quality embroidered jacket with their names and the score of the deer on the front and the Lone Star Bowhunters logo on the back. (Good bragging rights around the camp fire!)
