Measurers are the backbone of any records system. They are all volunteers that have a unique interest in record keeping data. To locate a measurer in your area, you can find a listing in the LSBA magazine, or contact the records chairman. The TBBR also honors score forms completed by official Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett measurers.
Once you have located a measurer to score your trophy, call him to make an appointment that is convenient to both parties, and bring all necessary information to complete the process.
All entries that are a potential new state record, are required to be panel-scored by the Records Committee before they are accepted and entry is finalized as the state record for that category of species.
Note:
All measurers are volunteers, and should a measurer try to charge you for the service, contact the TBBR Chairman. (However should your trophy surpass the minimums required to enter the animal and you wish to do so, there is an nominal entry fee payable to the TBBR.)
